🩷🖤 Aylesbury Women’s end of season awards 🩷🖤

✨Players Player: Ruby Hancox ✨
This year, there were several names in the running but eventually there was a clear winner. A player who has joined the club this season but has gelled with the team and coaches like she has been here forever and is 100% worthy of the award.

✨ Coaches Player: Eve Lock ✨
This was not an easy choice for us where everyone has stepped up to the plate, trained hard and put in a shift each game. There was one name that once the discussion started, became a clear winner. She is not a loud presence, quietly gets on with her job doing all the hard work on the field that often goes unappreciated…big tackles, hitting the breakdowns and running fantastic support lines. All this hard work has seen her as one of the leagues top try scorers!

✨ Team Player: Darcey Moore ✨
This is an individual selected by the players and coaches as someone who exemplified why we all chose to play rugby. A positive influence on and off the pitch. This person goes that extra mile week in and week out…keeping us fed with baked goods and making sure the player of the match gets their custom brownie each week.

✨ Breakthrough Player: Beckz Maddock ✨
This is award is for the person in their first ever season of rugby who has made the biggest impact on the pitch. Ironically, a big impact was a memorable moment for this person. She has made a difficult position her own and in the face of experienced first team players suffering injuries, had a baptism of fire for her first season.
